Is it safe to take drug that caused cataplexy? geodon (ziprasidone) 50mg gave best sleep of my life but at 75mg gave me full blown cataplexy.. and best sleep! i slept deep solid 8 hours and woke up feeling great!

Geodon (ziprasidone): If the medicine gave you the best results discuss with your prescribing physician the dose adjustment for optimum response and tolerability.

Ctaplexy: Cataplexy is specific for narcolepsy. As a sleep medicine doctor i cannot find any medical literature telling that cataplexy is caused by geodon (ziprasidone). Please see your doctor.
