May not be candidate: May not be a candidate for tummy tuck after the gastric sleeve [depending on the placement of the incision] and paradoxically not till the wt is lost either. If you can lost weight with lifestyle [diet, exercise] change, you are by far better off. Have TT after that- a great reward to yourself!

Not equivalent: A gastric sleeve is performed to help curb your appetite and help you lose weight. A tummy tuck is ideally performed on someone who has obtained their ideal weight and has redundant skin and/or a rectus diastasis.
