My son was bitten by a sick donkey. the bite broke the skin. the donkey can't walk, legs curled up, should i be concerned?

Go to physician: Unlikely donkey had rabies but always go to physician after animal bite to look at wound ; prevent infection. Owner of donkey responsible for telling you what illness donkey has. Public health dept needs to know what happened too.
