Surgical follow-up: If there's redness that you think is abnormal - you need to let your surgeon know about this. They usually have some sort of routine follow up scheduled after a surgery-but I would call now and let them know you need to be seen sooner rather than later. You don't want to 'sit' on a wound infection that could worsen without the proper treatment. Surgeons are usually happy to know about these things
