Tricky.: Your health insurance resets yearly. Every year you have to pay the 'deductible' before your health insurance covers most services. If it is 2000$, you have to pay 2000$ before the insurance will pay for visits/ x-rays, etc... After the deductible is met, the insurance will pay for their part and you will pay your part, usually 80% them you pay 20%. Your 20% is called co-pay.
