Mental Health: Most mental health practitioners are very compassionate and caring as well as having much knowledge in helping people lead balanced life so you are likely to experience improved health if you remain committed to doing the work necessary to improve your life. Best.

It all depends: Can't tell without knowing what your concerns are and also things about the doctor. In general, if the doctor is competent and you describe problems that are life threatening or quite severe, they'll take emergency action. If the problems are moderate, a referral to a psychotherapist and/or a trial on an appropriate medication might be made. If mild, reassurance may be all. It's a good start!
