It is possible: Unfortunately, exposure to any antibiotic puts you at an increased risk for c diff. There is no completely "safe antibiotic" as far as c. Diff goes. If you definitely need antibiotics, i would recommend asking your doc for the "narrowest spectrum" antibiotic possible, meaning the one that targets the specific "bad" bacteria making you sick without killing off all the good stuff too!
