Stop gap: Antibiotics work to limit the spread of infection as long as you are taking the medication. They do not "cure" the infection. N as soon as you stop taking the antibiotic, the infection comes roaring right back. In addition to the antibiotic you need definitive dental treatment, so call your dentist now.
