Sleep and anxiety: Anxiety can cause insomnia and disrupted sleep. You should see your primary care provider or behavioral health specialist for an evaluation. Other reasons for sleep trouble include lack of exercise, daytime napping, waking at different times, and going to bed at different times. Some people find melatonin helpful for sleep.
