Tender area upper left groin pressure from pants in one spot while sitting no visible sign of hernia got better but started again after a year?

See a doctor: You still could have a hernia, as they are often not visible to the person in the early stages. Only larger inguinal (groin) hernias become visible. Also could just be muscle discomfort. Have an exam with a doctor to be sure.
