Would trauma to hard palate cause a hard, painless lump? been on strong antibiotics for 2 weeks and its still there. not on midline, off to right. :(

Yes: Trauma to hard palate can cause infection that can last longer than normal due to the nature of the soft tissues covering the hard palate and it's low blood supply, it takes longer than normal to heal, also maintain good oral hygiene difenatly help.

Possibly, however: Infections usually hurt and i would expect some resolution after 2 weeks of an antibiotic. There are many things that can cause painless lumps on the palate, including boney tori ( that do not require treatment) and cancer of a salivary gland ( that obviously does require treatment). Pease have this lump evaluated by your dentist or oral surgeon.
