Possibly, however: Infections usually hurt and i would expect some resolution after 2 weeks of an antibiotic. There are many things that can cause painless lumps on the palate, including boney tori ( that do not require treatment) and cancer of a salivary gland ( that obviously does require treatment). Pease have this lump evaluated by your dentist or oral surgeon.
