See below: If I am understanding your question, you had imaging after your robotic bso that suggests ureteral obstruction? Ureteral injury during gynecological surgery is uncommon, but still can occur in roughly 1% of cases. It is diagnosed after the surgery in most (~70%) cases. The ct you have scheduled should help confirm the diagnosis, and if the obstruction persists, an urologist can help you.

Try not to worry: To orry achieves nothing. Unusual to diagnose non-symptomatic obstructed ureter via robotic endoscope. Ur ovaries have been removed as part of bso ; scope would have seen cyst if one was there. Obstructing stone would likely give you renal colic. Possible congenital ; benign. Why ct rather than a radiation free us. Would cancel ct if physician has any ownership in ct scanner. ?Consult urologist.

Here are some ...: Thus far you have been under a good sequence of care so it would be most reasonable to wait until upcoming CT in 3-4 days as long as not clinically unbearable. Online inquiry and guessing at this time would not help to solve the concern; instead, expanding speculation may unnecessarily incite anxiety. So, just wait and see until CT in 3-4 days. Of course, see Doc for emergency as needed.
