Carbohydrates: Well, eating carbohydrates can definitely contribute to weight gain. By the same token, limiting your carbohydrate intake can make you lose a lot of food. Your body needs a little bit of carbohydrate daily, but most americans eat way too much of it. Protein, fruits, and vegetables (not starchy ones) are best to eat.
