Possible blepharitis: Chronic bloodshot eyes can be from many things, including infections and inflammation. Dry eyes, and blepharitis, a condition causing chronic inflammation of the eyelids, are common causes. Do you have crusting? sticky eyes? burning? stinging? You should see an eye doctor soon to figure out the cause and get treatment, to avoid any damage to your eyes.
