Search for cause: Abdominal pain can come from a variety of sources. The most important factor is to identify the cause. You have to rule out common causes of abdominal pain before focusing on the intestine. The most common causes are the appendix, the gallbladder, the ovaries, menstrual cramping, ulcers and kidney stones. Scarring, hernias and blockages can cause intestine pain. A ct scan is the best to diagnose.
