Not really: MR studies of the abdomen are highly specialized in terms of what one wants to look at. Enterography studies are optimized to look at the bowel. That said, if there's something major like a big tumor in the liver, it is likely it will be seen. The reason is MR studies take a long time. A comprehensive study might take an hour or more.

Yes, but: since the technical parameters are specifically tailored for the enterography, it would not be the optimum way to evaluate the rest of the abdomen, depending on what else your doctor might be concerned about.
