See ophthalmologist: If you were unhappy with a visit to an optometrist, recall that ophthalmolgists are fully trained to diagnose and treat eye diseases of every kind while optometrists have very limited training, cannot do surgery and are not fully trained doctors. So seek a second opinion from an ophthalmologist.
