I have little pain in right eye with normal vision and no visual symptoms for few days. is it because i washed with water frequently in past few weeks? is washing eyes frequently with water bad? do i need to visit an optometrist or ophthalmologist?

There is essentially no reason to "wash" your eyes with anything. In some instances washing eyelids may be indicated but essentially never the eyes themselves. Lubricating or wetting your eyes with artifical tears or lubricating drops on the other hand is often of benefit in dry eye conditions. For now, stop washing your eyes with water and use an artifical tear as needed for a few days.
