Please tell me, could i get a more serious injury from having chondromalacia patella/patellafemoral pain syndrome?

Not directly: Chondromalacia patella does precipitate local inflammation and pain. Inflammation can eventually get surrounding tissue to be more easily injured. Pain changes our gait and actions and can precipitate secondary injury, but these are not direct effects, only possible secondary.
