Sometimes: Sometimes bleeding from polyps can be painless, but any time your uterus needs to expel blood, it can be uncomfortable. So cramps do not specifically differentiate between a period, a polyp, or something worse. Better to see your doctor and have it checked.

Perimenopause: I suggest that you have a gyn check up. You probably need an exam and pelvic ultrasound.

You need : To schedule an appointment with your gynecologist to give you a more specific answer. At your age, anything could be possible. It could be hormonal imbalance, fibroids, endometrial polyps , clotting or thyroid problems etc.You sure don't want to miss something more serious . Take care.
