Non union strength: A fibrous non union is a fracture that did not heal with bone but with only fibrous conective tissue. Because there is still movement at the fracture site bones that bear alot of weight will allow the development of an angular deformity or a crooked bone. Because of ongoing movement in soe instances these can be painful. Because fibrous non unions are not rigid they are not as strong as an intact
