Don't really: The main importance of strong bones is that they are less likely to fracture or break if you have an injury As people get older and get osteoporosis, the bones get weaker and more brittle and can sometimes fracture from relatively minor activities Its very important to perform weightbearing activities to keep the bones in your legs strong
