Exercise with weight: Bones respond to physical stimuli. Exercise with weights stimulates bone and muscle development. Loading the bones or weight bearing exercises also help to stimulate bone density.

A 25-year-old male asked:
Hi i'm just wondering if milk actually makes your bones stronger? Or if it is just a myth.

Interesting.: Actually milk probably doesn't make your bones stronger if you have adequate calcium intake. Now that many people take calcium supplements dietary calcium is less important. Excess calcium will simply be excreted in your urine and stool. If you have inadequate intake then milk will indeed provide calcium that makes your bones stronger.
