Exam vs MRI: Your doctors may have felt some fullness but if the MRI doesn't show anything, its a more reliable test for soft tissue tumors then exam when there is nothing really visibly wrong. Your doctor should be able to confirm this for you and for your peace of mind.

Salivary gland lump: Just curious as to why you have seen three doctors. I'm assuming you have received the same diagnosis and advice, but are looking for a different answer. This cannot be diagnosed without a visual exam and follow-up testing. Find a doctor you trust and follow his/her advice. Or take your daughter to major medical center, perhaps in boston.

See ENT: If the physicians you consulted did not give you a clear, satisfactory diagnosis and treatment recommendation, you could consult with an ear, nose and throat doctor ent (oto laryngologist), who might provide a better help. Various kinds of x ray machines don't always clearly show these kinds of growths.
