Is it possible for a brain tumor not to show up on mri's or mra's? i have this lump on the left side of my forehead, saw a dermotologist and she wouldnt do a biopsy, that lump dont move around like a cyst would,brain tumors runin my family and died?

Derm made right choice. Not a brain tumor from what you say. Brain tumors died? That is almost unheard of.

A tumor in the brain should show up on an MRI of brain. MRA's (or MR angiogram's) are usually done more specifically to look at the blood flow, so in this case a tumor may be missed, if it is not specifically looked for. A brain tumor doesn't typically project outside and show up as lump on forehead so I think it is doubtful it's related to a tumor within the brain. Best of luck to you!
