Maybe: Your prolapsed discs may have been there before, and are causing your pain, not the other way around. You need to see a physician to determine the specific diagnosis of why you are in pain. A large percentage of the population has prolapsed discs, with no pain or disability. Consult with your family physician, and then an orthopedist. Physical therapy may be just what you need, but see doctor.
