How was it diagnosed: And by who? Plain imaging can show it but a CT of the spine is the most accurate. If traumatic in origin , it would be a high energy accident, or repeated stress as interior linemen & gymnasts. Don’t heal on their own. See a fellowship trained spine specialist.
