Not because of that: You might be worried that your shoulder hurts but it has nothing to do with the nurse not cleaning your arm with an alcohol wipe. Several research studies have shown that cleaning skin before giving shots does absolutely nothing to reduce risk of infection- see http://www.Lumhs.Edu.Pk/jlumhs/vol12no02/pdfs/11.Pdf indeed, contaminated alcohol wipes have been known to cause infections! see comment:.
