A member asked:

Why do i repeatedly have localized, severe, aching pain in my left shoulder and arm joints 3-6 hours after having light amounts of alcohol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Shoulder pain: There doesn't seem to be a connection to the alcohol and pain on one region of your body. Alcohol does reduce pain and if it is in your case, then when it wears off, the pain will be increase for a little while. On a side note, if you take any nsaids (e.g. Aspirin, ibuprofen, alieve) for your pain, please limit the alcohol as this can be a bad combination causing an inflamed stomach.
