We do lots of conditioning at cheer practice and my coach told me to drink 32oz of water a day, eat an orange a day, & stretch. any other advice?

Cheer practice: Definitely i would suggest all the above plus sleeping at least 8 hrs a night. Eating three healthy meals a day plus 2-3 healthy snacks. Limit your caffeine intake. Also, make sure you having fun!

Cheerleading: Sounds like a good start. Just make sure that besides aerobic/cardiac conditioning you spend time lifting some weights for the demands of a cheerleader.
