F/u: Chronic tonsillitis can happen and it could leave you with a slightly bigger tonsil even when there is no infection-even bigger when infected. However, if you start seeing your tonsil becomes irregular and bigger- and it does not go back to the " baseline" size or continues to get bigger despite the lack of infection- you should f/u with ENT and a biopsy perhaps should be considered as indicated.
