Not hospital but see: You don't have to go to the hospital at all when pregnant but it's crucial to get prenatal care as an outpatient from a doctor, nurse or midwife. They'll want to see you about once a month, more often as you get closer to delivery. You don't even have to go for delivery if you choose a home birth. With the affordable care act you should be able to get insurance at little or no cost- check options.
