What is the safest over-the-counter vitamins for pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Folic acid: Certainly Folic Acid is essential supplement for pregnancy and it is incorporated into all formulations of prenatal vitamins. Calcium is also recommended because many women don't consume enough during pregnancy. Some may need a bit of iron as well. Balanced diet rich in leafy veggies, lean meats/proteins/fish/dairy/carb trump all supplements! consult doc. Good luck.
