The manic phase is: Very exhausting. People tend to crash after long stretches of mania. To prevent this work with your psychiatrist to keep your moods as stable as possible with medication.

Mental fatigue: Mental fatigue may be associated either with depression, or sometimes with some of the medications used in bipolar disorder. Please talk with your psychiatrist about what you're experiencing, so the two of you can assess what is what with you. Also, if using alcohol or any other drugs, you'd do well to stop them since they can destabilize mood and interfere with clear thinking.
