A member asked:

Is there any point in wearing a brace if you just found out you have a pars lateral fracture 6 months after the injury? any possibility of healing?

Pars fracture: Healing of a pars fracture is a very slow process. Lying flat in bed while sleeping may help to relieve pain. Also get exercises from a physiotherapist.
