Broken neck: Bones take at least 6 weeks to heal. Given your age, they are probably healed by now. Typically your doctor will now take an X-ray to check, and if the X-ray looks fine will remove the brace.

Varies : It varies somewhat based upon a more specific description of the fractures. That being said, 12 weeks of immobilization for healing would be pretty standard. Certainly would want to make sure it is followed closely as some C2 fractures can displace and require either a halo or surgery.
