Yes, isolation can: Impact depression. Even if you are agoraphobic - you could invite others to come over. Do you feel more comfortable leaving the house with someone else? If so, try that. More importantly - are you getting therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy can be especially helpful.

Yes, isolation can: Make anxiety and depression worse. I would encourage you to find a good psychologist to help you overcome your agoraphobia so that you can start living a fuller life. Cognitive behavioral techniques (progressive desensitizations) can be very helpful although at times there is also a need for some insight oriented therapy as well if the agoraphobia is related to any early traumatic experiences.
