Probably infected: The negative rapid test does NOT prove you don't have COVID-19. It does suggest that if you have it, your viral load is low, but it's still early. Your symptoms are typical and your exposure was high risk, so you should continue to self-quarantine. Find a way to have a standard (non-rapid) PCR test. Check local pharmacies and your local or state health department. Good luck.

COVID 19 testing: Rapid antigen test is not as accurate as PCR. It may or may not be accurate.

See below: Covid-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Contact your doctor/local hospital, by phone for evaluation and testing in your area. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. Get Covid vaccine. Wish you good health.
