A member asked:

How to skip the sleepiness after lunch?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple steps: Cut down on fatty foods. Drink less milk. Don't eat turkey. Don't stuff yourself. Sleepiness after meals (post-prandial fatigue in doctor-speak), can be a response to a distended stomach. Drink some caffeine with lunch. Take a power nap after lunch if you can. If you eat a little less and spend the extra time napping, you may find that you are much more energetic in the afternoons.
