how long does pperiod pain last for?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Charlene Sojico
40 years experience Pediatrics
It varies : With each individual person. Some would experience pain before their periods , some would have them during the whole duration of their menstrual period or first few days only and miss school or work. Please consult with your OB if pain worsened. Birth control pills may help but there could be other causes.
