Scar tissue?: Have the doctor who excised it evaluate, but it may just be scar tissue around the wound.

Need 2nd Opinion: Canker sores are not usually removed and are rare on the palate. Best to see an Oral&Maxillofacial Surgeon. If something was removed there should be a biopsy report.
