A member asked:

How many ounces of formula should a 8 month old baby girl have in a day? and what about baby food? 3 meals a day? thanks doctors

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Feed on demand: Infants this age who are otherwise healthy do best when they are offered formula every few hours throughout the day. They will take the amount they need to stay healthy. Solid food meals are often three times per day and can start to include soft table foods as well. As long as the kids stay well hydrated and grow well this is the best strategy. Your doctor will monitor your child's growth.
