See a Dr in person: Any skin pustule in an infant this young needs to be examined by a Dr in person. The Drs exam will determine whether there is redness, swelling, warmth, any discharge and what the mass feels like. If it is an infection, the Dr can prescribe antibiotics. If it is something else, they can determine the next steps in testing or treatment.
