A member asked:

My age 26 , i have vitamin b12 deficiency, i was adviced to take methycobal tablets, are they fine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reason for low B12?: Age 26 to have B12 deficiency? Have you investigated the reason? That, to me, is just as important a question to ask as the treatment. Do you have celiac disease, crohn's, severe gastritis, gastric ulcer disease? Methylcobal is fine. I'm an injector biased type of doc but very potent oral forms are said to be equivalent. http://www.methylcobalamininfo.com/methylcobalamin-vs-cyanocobalamin/.
