A member asked:

Could a chronic obstruction of gallbladder cause severe diarrhea, prolonged pain in the right shoulder, sudden drop of continuously elevated trigs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gallbladder: Do you have gallstones? Gallbladder obstruction from gallstones would usually cause significant right upper abdominal pain with nausea ; vomiting. Shoulder pain would only expected to be a minor issue. Severe diarrhea also not likely due to gallbladder but could be a result of antibiotics you have taken. Reduced triglycerides also more dietary related ; not expected to be due to the gallbladder.
