Being pregnant: The er is usually not the place for ob questions. Contacting your OB is the most ideal next step in most cases. If there us a concern OB doctors would send you to a labor floor to be observed and examined and a treatment plan instituted. It sounds like you lost your pregnancy. I am not sure contractions could have been stopped or should have been stopped.

Ultrasound tech report: twin As placenta is anterior with a portion that appears to wrap posterior along the lateral aspect of the uterus. There is also a small amount of blood clot overlying the cervix does this mean Im going to lose my babies?
