Maybe: Don't smoke. Avoid foods that trigger acid (chocolate, coffee, alcohol, fried foods, tomato based foods, etc), chew gum ( can be acid neutralizing), lose weight, have gravity help you. There are large wedge shaped pillows in sleep shops you can use to elevate your head, avoid large meals, review your medications ( pain meds, anti inflammatories, antibiotics , tricyclics,can increase reflux).
