A member asked:

Can anyone tell me is tylenol (acetaminophen) 3 stronger than hydrocodone?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: In general tylenol (acetaminophen) 3 is a weaker pain killer than hydrocodone because tylenol (acetaminophen) 3 contains codeine, which a relatively weaker narcotic than hydrocodone. They also have different duration of action but there is individual variability so what works better for one person doesn't necessary work for all. They are all dose related effects as will so this will influence the edfect.
