Yes but not carefree: Breast implants, like any other surgical procedure should be performed by an experienced individual in a patient who has been informed of the risks, alternatives and benefits. Implants require care and maintenance including regular follow ups and routine breast cancer screening as in any other female. Other alternatives such as fat transfer do exist and may be considered as alternatives.
