A member asked:

What is bph surgery, how was it and did it fix the flow like?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BPH: There are various procedures used to treat bph. Transurethral resection of the prostate is the gold standard. Various thermal or laser treatments have also been developed over the years. They all remove obstructing prostatic tissue surgically and have procedure specific side effects. Most can address the obstruction problem adequately with proper patient selection.
